Ghid de călătorie în Aruba, paradisul tropical cu influențe olandeze

Aruba se află în afara traseului obișnuit al uraganelor și are o climă puțin diferită de cea a celorlalte insule din Caraibe, fiind mai uscată și mai previzibilă, fapt apreciat de turiștii care vin aici din toată lumea. Turismului i-a fost acordat cea mai mare atenție încă din 1947, când s-au pus bazele primelor resorturi de lux.

Trecutul Arubei este vizibil în arhitectura olandeză a capitalei sale pline de viață, Oranjestad, ori facând o excursie la minele de aur abandonate din Parcul Național Arikok. Odată ajuns aici, strecoară-te prin intrarea în forma de inimă a Tunelului Iubirii, parte a sistemului de peșteri din Arikok. Dacă ești în căutare de aventură, vei găsi în partea de nord a insulei, într-o zonă accesibilă doar cu ATV-ul sau cu autovehiculele 4x4, o formațiune săpată în stâncă, plină cu apă. Sau mergi pe Muntele Haystack, o colină care oferă o priveliște panoramică asupra insulei.

Unele dintre cele mai bune plaje din Aruba se întind pe malul de vest și de sud, inclusiv Palm Beach, ce oferă condiții de înot excelente, și Eagle Beach, cotată ca fiind una dintre cele mai bune 10 plaje din lume.

Dacă dorești ceva izolat, îndreaptă-te spre sud, către Baby Beach, o plaja cu apă puțin adâncă, folosită și de către localnici. Aruba oferă și locații perfecte pentru cei ce vor să facă windsurfing, cum ar fi Hadikurari Beach.
